Welcome to Birdiyan!

I’m Krissy Xie, the founder of Birdiyan. I’m so glad to welcome you to our community, where we combine the love of golf with stylish accessories that empower women golfers to feel confident both off and on the course. 

Golf has been a game-changer for me—not just as a sport, but as a way to overcome personal and mental health challenges. Growing up as an immigrant in the U.S. and dealing with hearing loss, I struggled with self-confidence and well-being for years.

I first picked up golf a decade ago, looking for a phone-free activity my then-husband and I could do together. As soon as I started playing, I was hooked. At first, he was my caddy. Soon, we were playing together. 

When our marriage ended, I put down my clubs. They gathered dust for three years, waiting for me to find them – and myself – again. When I was ready, I started slowly, just hitting golf balls at the driving range. 

When my club connected with that golf ball, I felt a sense of peace. It was transformative and reminded me of golf’s most important lesson: Take it one tee at a time.

Our Mission

That’s what we’re doing at Birdiyan – taking it one tee (or one product) at a time, starting with our flagship product, the Hybrid Ring. The elegant look and multi-functional design embody our belief in providing style with purpose. 

I, like so many women, have found golf to be a reprieve from the chaos of life, a sanctuary from storms. At Birdiyan, our goal is to help more women golfers thrive in this male-dominated sport – and close the gender gap in the process. That starts with feeling your best, and our accessories are here to do just that.
